Press Release: Monday 14, November 2005

The unlawful arrest of Dr Kizza Besigye. On Monday 14th November 2005, at 13.00 hours at Busega, a suburb of Kampala, the Forum for Democratic Change Party President Col. (Rtd) Dr. Kizza Besigye, was unlawfully detained and later arrested and prosecuted in Court at Buganda Road. Click here.

This is in response to today’s lead story  of The New Vision and the Daily Monitor attributed to Mr Willaim Lacy Swing, the UN Representative in DRC, purportedly confirming the existence of the mysterious and elusive rebel group, “PRA” in the DRC, and linking it to the FDC President Col (Rtd) Dr Kizza Besigye.  Click here.
